Ontario was not formally part of the project
entitled
Child and Youth Friendly Land Use and Transport
Planning: Guidelines and Literature Review.
Guidelines for Ontario were developed first,
supported by the
Ontario Trillium Foundation, which
also supported some dissemination of the Guidelines
among Ontario municipalities.
The current, 92-page version of the Ontario Guidelines
document, dated March 9, 2009, is available
here.
The October 2003 report on the initial work that led
to development of the Ontario Guidelines is Kids
on the Move in Halton and Peel. It is available
here.
