Richard Gilbert is a Toronto-based consultant who works mainly on transport and energy issues. He began working on this project as research director of the Centre for Sustainable Transportation when it was located in the Toronto region.

Catherine O’Brien provided the initial inspiration for the Centre's work on young people and transportation. She is Assistant Professor in the School of Education, Health & Wellness, Cape Breton University.

Paul Lewis is Professor of Urban Planning at the University of Montreal.

Alain Rajotte worked on this project as an adjunct professor in the department of geomatics at the University of Sherbrooke. Now with the Quebec Ministry of Transportation, he worked on the project in his own time.

Janet Barlow is with the Ecology Action Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she is the Active and Safe Routes to School Coordinator.

Jackie Avent is with Resource Conservation Manitoba where she is coordinator of Manitoba's Active and Safe Routes to School Program.

Jason Emmert is a planner with Vancouver-based EcoPlan International Inc.

Alice Miro worked on this project when she was with Smart Growth BC. Now with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, she continued working on this project in her own time.
